'He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn' - Hosea 6:3
I want to encourage you - you are the church - a chosen person of God - and I want you to realise the potential of what God wants to do with your life. Our faith is not just a theory, something we learn about - it is real and practical. Our God answers prayer - and He works miracles. I have seen every kind of miracle you can imagine: blind eyes opened, broken backs mended; cancers healed; cripples get out of wheelchairs. - I've also experienced miracles that are not healing: financial provision; my own miraculous release from prison, and many others besides. I know these miracles will happen when I pray; I don't have any question about it. It's no different from knowing that every morning the sun will get out of bed and show itself at my window. God works miracles every day - but it is for us to believe that He can, and will in our lives.
Ephesians 3:20 promises that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly, above what we ask, think or imagine. One translation says God is able to do far more than we would ever dare ask or even dream of - infinitely beyond our highest prayers! - The Apostle Paul is talking about the ability and power of God to answer prayer - finance, healing, restoration and reconciliation - everything! God will do more than we ask - but it is according to our faith. If we believe God will answer - He promises He can exceed what we ask!
