 Walking with Jesus

All of us have been damaged, injured, by the sorrow in our lives; the pain, the fears, the sin in our lives which keep us from God, all these things mark us, they leave an imprint. But Jesus wants to walk alongside you, to talk with you and ease your troubled mind. He is a constant companion along life's narrow way, the voice which guides and directs.

When Peter stepped out of the boat, during the storm on Galilee, to walk with Jesus on the waves, all he heard was a voice and that voice was very calm. I want to say that the voice of Jesus is calling YOU: "Come! I want you to come to Me! Come and I will deliver you! Come and I will heal you. Come and I will forgive you." But you cannot find Him, unless you hear His voice and come out of your fear, out of your pain and come to Him now. He will deliver you. He won't let you go. He will answer every prayer. But you have to have the courage to come to Him.

'That very day two of Jesus' followers were walking to the village of Emmaus. As they walked along they were talking about everything that had happened. Suddenly, Jesus Himself came along and began walking besides them. Noticing the sadness written across their faces, Jesus asked, "What are you concerned about?" (Luke 24:13-15)
