I want you to get as excited as I am about who Jesus is. I've experienced many problems, such as cancer, and have spent a year in prison for the Gospel - but in all my life God has never failed me once. He has always answered my prayers. There is no one like Him. If you knew my Jesus, you would become so enthusiastic, so full of the power of the Holy Spirit, that the whole world would want to know your Jesus. Enthusiasm is so infectious. In fact, enthusiasm derives from the Greek language, meaning, 'to be full of God'.

With Jesus, absolutely nothing is impossible. My Jesus heals the sick, mends broken bones and specialises in the things no human doctor can do. What an exciting God! A God of miracles, a God of power and authority! A God who changes people's lives!

In Mark 5, 'Jesus got into a boat and went back to the other side of the lake, where a large crowd gathered around Him on the shore. Then a leader of the local synagogue, whose name was Jairus, arrived. When he saw Jesus, he fell at His feet, pleading fervently with Him. "My little daughter is dying," he said. "Please come and lay your hands on her; heal her so she can live."'

Jesus had come into this city. One of the rulers of the Synagogue came running up to Him, fell down at His feet; he was pleading with Jesus, "I know who You are; You are the One who works miracles; look, my daughter is dying, I love my daughter, she is my only daughter, come and lay your hands on her. Please, Jesus, please. I know, if You would lay Your hands on her, she is not going to die but live." This is reality: things go wrong in life. There is a problem which has come into the man's life, yet he knows of Jesus, he believes in Jesus, he believes in miracles; he knows, if Jesus would just come to his house all will be well.

You know the story, Jesus goes to this man's home, lays His hands on the daughter, and a miracle happens. To heal a girl is a miracle. Our God, yours and mine, is a God of miracles. A God of deliverance. A God of healing. Hallelujah! That is why we have something to rejoice about. Something to be excited about.
